EXCLUSIVE: JESSICA ALBA PRAISES CECIL B. DeMILLE RECIPIENT ROBERT DE NIRO

Jessica Alba got a chance to work with Cecil B. deMille recipient Robert De Niro twice this year.
First in the political Mexploitation film “Machete,” and next in the Christmas release “Little Fockers” – much to the actress delight. “He’s really one of my idols. He is so awesome,” she enthuses.
What makes the Golden Globe and Oscar-winning veteran actor so popular with his young costar is simply “everything. He is extraordinary. He is thoughtful. He is creative. He is open. He is very generous as an actor, even with people that have never really acted before. (“Machete” star) Danny Trejo said, ‘I never had a real speaking role before, and my first one was with Robert De Niro. And Robert De Niro treated me with so much respect.’ He has no ego when it comes to the craft. And he can poke fun at himself, too. The fact that he is self-deprecating and does these funny movies is awesome. I love seeing him in comedies.”
In fact, in “Little Fockers,” De Niro pokes fun at his very own Godfather character by passing on the torch to Ben Stiller, instructing him to become … a Godfocker.
