They will dine on California market salad featuring eggplant, bok choy, daikon, lotus and mustard greens with ginger dressing, filet of beef with marinara crust, slow-roasted black garlic steelhead trout with spaghetti squash, fried capers and sweet potatoes and salt-baked heirloom sweet potatoes with creamed corn glaze with a fricassee of winter vegetables. For dessert, they’ll have a trio of flourless Grand Marnier carmella, lemon mousseline croquantine and California almond cake are offered. Moet Champagne will flow, and stars and high-powered executives will table-hop among golden and green roses, hydrangea, hyacinth and orchids.At the end of the night, only 25 of these VIP guests will take home an equally VIP award: the Golden Globe.
