The year was 1977, and a young George Lucas and an even younger Steven Spielberg were talking on a beach in Maui. Lucas was 33 years old; Spielberg was 31.

Harrison Ford let us in on what he likes best about the Indiana Jones films on the US-premiere's red carpet. And even though they neither produced nor directed this installment, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, the original creators showed up to support.

It was a very emotional Harrison Ford, who received a special tribute at the premiere of the newest sequel of the Indiana Jones films. Ford plays the legendary hero in the James Mangold directed film and climbed the steps of the red carpet at the Palais des Festival alongside co-stars Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Ethann Isidore and Boyd Holbrook.

“I am sick of writing letters!” Dame Helen Mirren laughed when asked what changes she’d like for her character, Cara Dutton, in the surprise second season of the limited Series, 1923, the prequel to the hit Paramount+ show, Yellowstone and the sequel to 1923’s predecessor, 1883. “Brandon, come home!” She pleaded with a quip reminiscent of Spielberg’s E.

At the time of its scheduled release on June 30 of this year, the leading man of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be just two weeks shy of his 81st birthday. But debates and jokes about his age are the last thing Harrison Ford wants to hear, and rightfully so.

The 2000s Golden Globes were a glamorous,  natural, modern look we've come to appreciate.  Always a fashion leader as the first awards show of the season, the Golden Globes is a must-see for any fashion aficionado.

Happy birthday, Mister Ford! Indiana Jones - the 5th installment of the franchise will be released in 2023 - is an unbelievable 80 years old. From being discovered by George Lucas, for whom he worked as a carpenter, to becoming a star when the director hired him to play Han Solo in Stars Wars, this Chicago native has had a career of blockbusters.

By all accounts, the Chicago born four-time Golden Globe-winner and Cecil B. deMille recipient was never destined for an academic career.
