Corey Stoll and Carlton Cuse on The Strain
Even though he’s a working actor who’s played Ernest Hemingway for Woody Allen and has dozens of TV credits stretching back as far as ER and NYPD Blue, what put Corey Stoll on the map (and on the Golden Globes nominees roster) is his tour de force role as jr. congressman Peter Russo in House of Cards. Things (spoiler!) did not end well for rep. Russo in Frank Underwood’s world but it’s just the opposite in his career which has been red hot since, beginning with a starring role in Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain. That vampire series is produced by Carlton Cuse an award-winning veteran of serial fiction known for his work on Lost and Bates Motel. We bumped into them and asked them about their collaboration.
