Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition

Over 100 costume designs from the films of 2013 are now on display at the annual “Art of Motion Picture Costume Design” exhibition at the Fashion Institute Of Design & Merchandising/FIDM Museum in downtown Los Angeles, California.Now in its 22nd year, this free exhibit is a chance to get up close to the styles and fabrics that clothed stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams. All five Academy Award nominees for Costume Design are featured in the exhibition - 12 Years A Slave, The Invisible Woman, American Hustle, The Great Gatsby, The Grandmaster, as well as last years winner, Anna Karenina. There is also an extensive display of fantasy and sci fi costumes from films including Man of Steel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Star Trek Into Darkness and Pacific Rim.
