James Gandolfini

James Gandolfini (born in Westwood, New Jersey, September 18, 1961, died June 19, 2013) is best known for his role as Mafia crime boss Tony Soprano in the TV series The Sopranos (1999-2007) with Lorraine Bracco and Edie Falco, He acted in movies like Get Shorty (1995) by Barry Sonnenfeld, True Romance (1993), Crimson Tide (1995) and The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009) all directed by Tony Scott, The Last Castle (2001) by Rod Lurie, Where the Wild Things Are (2009) directed by Spike Jonze from the 1963 children’s book by Maurice Sendak. He starred with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Enough Said (2013) by Nicole Holofcener.
