Jennifer Aniston on Cake

by HFPA January 6, 2015

Jennifer Aniston’s performance in Cake has been called career defining. It is one of several portrayals of strong, complex female characters this year and, for her, a marked departure from the type of role that made her famous. It also gained her first Golden Globe nomination for a non-television role, in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama category. The HFPA’s Ramzi Malouki sat down with her and asked about creating the character of a woman deeply scarred by emotional and physical pain.
