They knocked it out of the park as hosts of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, and now Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have agreed to team up for the next two years.
NBC honcho Paul Telegdy announced today (October 15), “Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business, and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season.” “We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years,” he added.
And Dick Clark Productions CEO Allen Shapiro noted, “Tina and Amy have a truly unique chemistry, making them one of the most talented and captivating pairings of all time. We are thrilled to have them back in 2014 and 2015.”
Meanwhile, Poehler’s rep tweeted, “Sorry @taylorswift13 but Amy & Tina will be back for the next two @goldenglobes.”
