HFPA, dcp and Facebook Partner For Golden Globes Official Pre-Show

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and dick clark productions (dcp) today announced that they will partner with Facebook Inc. as the exclusive live-streaming platform for HFPA Presents Globes Red Carpet Live, the official red carpet pre-show for the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The exclusive partnership, which started with a global live stream of the show’s nominations announcement, will enable Facebook and Instagram users to feel the heartbeat of the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Hollywood’s Party of the Year®.HFPA Presents Globes Red Carpet Live, the two-hour pre-show produced by dick clark productions in association with the HFPA, will live stream exclusively on Facebook Watch from the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton. The pre-show will feature numerous interviews with talent, offering fans the opportunity to experience the true pulse of the red carpet action at the Golden Globe Awards. Hosts for the pre-show include actress and host Yvette Nicole Brown, host, author and speaker AJ Gibson, hosts and producers Rasha Goel and Ben Lyons, and actresses Missi Pyle and Francia Raisa. The pre-show is set to stream on January 6 from 6-8 pm ET (3-5 pm PT) and can be found exclusively at www.facebook.com/GoldenGlobes and here, on goldenglobes.com.Backstage, winners and presenters will step into the official Instagram Immersive Studio where content will be captured by photographer Paola Kudacki (@paolakudacki). Kudacki joins a legacy of renowned photographers including Inez and Vinoodh, Mert and Marcus, Ramona Rosales, and Ellen Von Unwerth) who have photographed the winners and presenters backstage at the Golden Globes. The exclusive video and photo content will be posted to @GoldenGlobes on Instagram in real time with behind-the-scenes moments shared on Instagram Stories and IGTV.The Golden Globes Instagram account will activate across all Instagram surfaces – feed, stories, and IGTV. In addition to the biggest moments of the night on the @GoldenGlobes Instagram feed, Instagram Stories leading into the show will include Making The Menu, the Seating Chart, Red Carpet Rollout and more.  Instagram Stories will also spotlight Golden Globe Award winner and six-time nominee Jeff Bridges, who will receive the 2019 Cecil B. deMille Award and five-time Golden Globe Award winner and sixteen-time nominee Carol Burnett who will receive the inaugural Golden Globe television special achievement award, the Carol Burnett Award at this year’s ceremony. On IGTV, fans can expect content with the Golden Globes Hosts and 2019 Golden Globes Ambassador, Isan Elba, as well as red carpet and backstage highlights.
