LONDON PROTESTERS ADD EXCITEMENT TO JACK BLACK INTERVIEW

Golden Globe nominated actor Jack Black’s meeting with Hollywood Foreign Press members in London was interrupted by a protest march outside the Dorchester Hotel. Black and members watched from the hotel windows as the demonstrators marched past banging drums, singing and protesting at job and environmental cuts. “Gee, there’s a lot of excitement out there,” said Black, who was at the hotel to talk about his latest movie, Gulliver’s Travels. As well as Gulliver’s Travels Black, who won his Golden Globe nomination in 2004 for best actor in a comedy or musical for School of Rock, has three other movies awaiting release next year—Kung Fu Panda 2, The Big Year and Bernie. He is also recording his second album with his band Tenacious D, which will open for the Foo Fighters in concert in Australia early next year.
