A boy growing up in Dublin in the 1980s decides to form a band to escape loneliness and bullying. “I love John (Carney), he’s the best”, says Adam Levine, who composed the song “Go Now” for the movie. “He didn’t make me feel at least like it was an 80s movie- he made me feel like they were actually making the movie in the 80s. (…) And there was actually amazing music and a really ground-breaking musical scene at the time.”
