The fact that this is the first post-Better Call Saul project for Bob Odenkirk makes Cecilia Miniucchi's Worlds Apart a must-see. The film premiered on September 1 at the Venice Film Festival in the “Giornate degli Autori” section.

At the beginning of the lockdown for covid in 2020, Italian director/writer/artist Cecilia Miniucchi asked Bob Odenkirk in the middle of a forced break from the shooting of Better Call Saul's last season, “Bob Odenkirk, how about we do something while locked up in our respective homes?” Odenkirk accepted the offer without hesitation and that was how Worlds Apart was born, a feature film shot entirely remotely, each member of the cast, the sparse crew and the director working from their Los Angeles home. Something unprecedented.

Before Bob Odenkirk was known as Saul Goodman, the beloved shady lawyer from Breaking Bad, he was a comedy writer from Naperville, a suburb of Chicago. “I'm from a family of seven kids, and we entertained each other at the dinner table and there was a lot of storytelling.

Once again, the HFPA is at Comic-Con with a dedicated lounge overlooking the proceedings and steady streams of special guests, old and new, who stop by to chat about their current projects as they head to Hall H, meet fans or simply to people watch in what is the biggest cos-play convention in the world. The HFPA's Mirai Konishi and Gabriel Lerman talked to Bob Odenkirk about the upcoming Fourth Season of Better Call Saul.

Going to Comic-Con this year couldn't have been a more rewarding experience for Bob Odenkirk. It started with a reunion with the rest of the cast of Breaking Bad in front of the cameras of the Conan show on Wednesday night, and then it continued the next day with the first panel in the history of Better Call Saul in Hall H.
