As we transitioned from the Miss and Mister Golden Globes to Golden Globes Ambassadors, the duties of the chosen, aspiring second- and third-generation Hollywood actors increased: as ambassadors, they are supporting their charities and causes while still having experienced the glamour of the Golden Globe stage. From Sosie Bacon to Isan Elba, Lily Costner to Simone Garcia Johnson and Satchel and Jackson Lee, we take a look back to the more recent history.

As we get ready for the 80th Golden Globes, we are celebrating an old tradition: the Golden Globe Ambassador, formerly known as Miss or Mister Golden Globes, who are second- or third-generation performers. Here, we flash back to 2016 when Corinne Foxx was chosen to wear this title, and was so lovingly introduced by her father, Jamie Foxx.

Satchel and Jackson Lee, children of three-time Golden Globe nominee Spike Lee and producer Tonya Lewis Lee, are our Golden Globe® Ambassadors for 2021. Their appointment marks the first time in HFPA history that two siblings of color have held the position, with Jackson being the first Black male Ambassador.

Chosen by the HFPA, the Golden Globe Ambassador - previously known as Miss or Mr. Golden Globe - is traditionally the daughter or son of one of the industry's most respected actors/actresses/directors/producers and assists during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has selected Dylan and Paris Brosnan as the Golden Globe Ambassadors for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards season. Dylan and Paris are the sons of two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Pierce Brosnan and filmmaker and environmentalist Keely Shaye Brosnan.
