Golden Globe-nominated actress Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) stars in the titular role as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The series follows the highly skilled legal eagle Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who specializes in cases involving superheroes when they need legal counsel.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon have long been advocates for environmental issues. So too has Mark Ruffalo, as one of the most vocal celebrities on the issue of fracking – hydraulic fracturing of the earth to release and harness gas.

Mark Ruffalo, 2021 Golden Globe winner as Best Actor for the TV series I Know This Much Is True, spoke about religion to HFPA journalists in 2004. “I grew up in a household that had three religions in it, (born-again) Christianity, Catholicism and Bahai'ism, so there were different viewpoints and a lot of debate about that, and I immediately began to understand that all these people that I loved very much had very strong feelings about faith, but all of them were valid to me.

Dark Waters is a legal thriller film directed by Golden Globe nominee Todd Haynes.  It is based on a 2016 article published in The New York Times Magazine by Nathaniel Rich.

Besides being an actor and filmmaker tree time Golden Globe nominee Mark Ruffalo is a humanitarian, environmentalist and activist. All those interests come together in his latest movie, Dark Waters, in which he portrays a lawyer who takes on the giant Dupont when he discovers that their chemical waste is poisoning waters around their factories.
