Miss Golden Globe

She is known as an icon of TV: Linda Evans aka Krystle Carrington rose to worldwide fame with Dynasty in the 1980s. But in 1964, she was Miss Golden Globe.

The tradition started in 1962 when the Golden Globes reached a maturity of sorts- all of 18 years old! In an appropriate celebration of both youth and legacy, two up and coming actresses were chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to assist with the task of delivering awards at the 1963 Golden Globe ceremony. Eva Six, a Hungarian-born actress who starred in a couple of beach party movies (a hot trend at the time), and Donna Douglas, star of the popular TV series The Beverly Hillbillies, were the first Miss Golden Globes.

Simone Garcia Johnson is the newly re-named Golden Globe Ambassador for the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Globe ® Awards.  Newly signed to IMG Models, Simone Garcia Johnson is the daughter of entertainment icon Dwayne Johnson and producer and Chairwoman of Seven Bucks Productions Dany Garcia.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has selected Sistine, Sophia and Scarlet Stallone as Miss Golden Globe 2017 for the 74th Annual Golden Globe® Awards. HFPA President Lorenzo Soria made the announcement revealing for the first time ever that a trio is receiving the title.

Each year, since 1962, the HFPA has been selecting a young actress to serve as Miss Golden Globes. Some of those so honored also happened to be a Hollywood "second generation", and this became the adopted criterion in 1985.

Following tradition where a daughter or son of one of Hollywood’s most respected actors is selected to assist at the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association named Corinne Foxx, daughter of Jamie Foxx, Miss Golden Globe 2016. The announcement was made at a party helt at West Hollywood's Ysabel restaurant, serving as the de facto opening of Golden Globe Season.

Corinne Foxx, daughter of Golden Globe winner and two-time Golden Globe nominee Jamie Foxx, is our Miss Golden Globe 2016. A senior at the University of Southern California, Corinne recently shot a campaign for accessory line The Icing.

Resplendent in a cream tulle rhinestone-studded Ted Baker dress and matching shoes by Jerome Rousseau, Greer Grammer, our new Miss Golden Globe, hosted a luncheon for bloggers from various online media outlets at the Beverly Hilton three days before thebig show.   The honor of Miss Golden Globes goes to the offspring of a former Golden Globe winner.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has selected actress Greer Grammer Miss Golden Globe 2015 for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards set to air live on NBC on January 11, 2015. President Theo Kingma made the announcement on November 20, 2014, from Fig and Olive Restaurant in West Hollywood.
