She acted in movies like Advise & Consent (1962) by Otto Preminger, The Story of Us (1999) by Rob Reiner, played the grandma in The Proposal (2009) with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, You Again (2010) with Jamie Lee Curtis.
