Celeste Holm

Celeste Holm (born in New York City, April 29, 1917, died July 15, 2012) acted on Broadway, notably in the musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein Oklahoma! (1943). She acted in movies like Gentleman’s Agreement (1947) directed by Elia Kazan starring Gregory Peck, The Snake Pit (1948) by Anatole Litvak with Olivia de Havilland, Come to the Stable (1949) with Loretta Young, All About Eve (1950) written and directed by Joseph Mankiewicz, starring Bette Davis, The Tender Trap (1955) with Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds, High Society (1956) with Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra. She later acted in the musical Tom Sawyer (1973), the comedy Three Men and a Baby (1987) directed by Leonard Nimoy starring Tom Selleck.
