Julian Fellowes
Julian Fellowes (born August 17, 1949, Cairo, Egypt) worked as an actor before shifting into writing. His screenplay for Gosford Park (2001) was nominated for a Golden Globe. In 2010 he created and wrote for the series Downton Abbey, which won a Globe as best limited/anthology series. In 2011, he was appointed a life peer in the British House of Lords as Baron Fellowes of West Stafford. In 2022, he created the HBO series The Gilded Age.
