Kim Hunter

Kim Hunter (born Janet Cole in Detroit, Michigan, November 11, 1922, died September 11, 2002) acted in movies like A Matter of Life and Death (1946) with David Niven, she reprised the role of Stella that she had performed on stage in the movie A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) directed by Elia Kazan from the 1947 play by Tennessee Williams, starring Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando. She acted with Humphrey Bogart in Deadline – U.S.A. (1952) written and directed by Richard Brooks. On television she acted in Requiem for a Heavyweight (1956) with Jack Palance, The Comedian (1957) by John Frankenheimer with Mickey Rooney. Her last movie role was in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997) by Clint Eastwood.
