Molly Ringwald

Molly Ringwald (born in Roseville, California, February 18, 1968) made her film debut in Tempest (1982) directed by Paul Mazursky from the Shakespeare play starring John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands, landing on the cover of Time magazine. She was directed by John Hughes in the teenage comedies Sixteen Candles (1984) and The Breakfast Club (1985) with Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall, by Howard Deutch in Pretty in Pink (1986) with Andrew McCarthy, by James Toback in The Pick-up Artist (1987) with Robert Downey Jr., by John Avidsen in For Keeps (1988), by Alan Alda in Betsy’s Wedding (1990). On television Ringwald acted in The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008-2013), Riverdale (2017-2022), Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022).
