Rosa Maria “Rosie “Perez (born in Brooklyn, New York, September 6, 1964, to Puerto Rican parents), started as a dancer on the TV show Soul Train, was the choreographer for the Fly Girls on the comedy series In Living Color (1990-1994). She acted in movies like Do the Right Thing (1989) by Spike Lee, White Men Can’t Jump (1992) by Ron Shelton, Fearless (1993) by Peter Weir, Somebody to Love (1994), Pineapple Express (2008), Won’t Back Down (2012), The Last Thing He Wanted (2020) by Dee Reese, Birds of Prey (2020) from DC Comics. On television she acted in the series Rise (2017-2018), The Flight Attendant (2020-2022).
