Rupert Everett

Rupert Everett (born in Burnham Deepdale, Norfolk, England, May 29, 1959) acted with Colin Firth in the film version of the play Another Country (1984), with Miranda Richardson in Dance with a Stranger (1985) by Mike Newell, The Comfort of Strangers (1990) by Paul Schrader, My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) with Julia Roberts, An Ideal Husband (1999) and The Importance of Being Earnest (2002) directed by Oliver Parker from the 1895 plays by Oscar Wilde, The Next Best Thing (2000) by John Schlesinger with Madonna. On television Everett acted with Benedict Cumberbatch in Parade’s End (2012). He wrote and directed The Happy Prince (2020) where he played Oscar Wilde.
