Bryce Dallas Howard on “Jurassic World”

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the fifth installment of the Jurassic franchise, took a T Rex-sized bite out of the world box office, garnering $151 million in international receipts and proving the resiliency of the Steven Spielberg/Michael Crichton series. For the second film in the Jurassic World reboot, Spanish director J.A. Bayona took steps behind the camera, re-energizing the series with an entertaining installment replete with homages to predecessors, cult classics from Alien to Terminator and genre references sourced in Bayona’s horror film roots. The HFPA’s Mirai Konishi and Brent Simon spoke to Bryce Dallas Howard about the film, which sees the prehistoric monsters breach the confines of the infamous park.
