Lily Collins: “No Shame, No Regrets”

You could say that Lily Collins, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Marla Mabrey in Warren Beatty’s Rules Don’t Apply last year, has always been precocious. She studied broadcast journalism at USC, wrote for Seventeen, Teen Vogue and the LA Times before pursuing a modeling and acting career. This year she is appearing in an Amazon series, The Last Tycoon and in several features: Okja, Halo of Stars and To The Bone, the Netflix film about a young woman battling eating disorders, a controversial project for which she was nevertheless honored by Project Heal for her role in raising awareness about anorexia. If that weren’t enough, her debut novel, Unfiltered: No Shame, No Regrets, Just Me was also published this year. The HFPA’s Michele Manelis asked her about her busy year.
