Susanne Bier

Susanne Bier (born in Copenhagen, Denmark, April 15, 1960) directed Danish films like The One and Only (1999), Open Hearts (2002), Brothers (2004), After the Wedding (2006), In a Better World (2010), Love is All You Need (2012) with Pierce Brosnan. She directed in English the movies Things We Lost in the Fire (2008) with Benicio del Toro and Halle Berry, Serena (2014) with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, Bird Box (2018) with Sandra Bullock. For television Bier directed The Night Manager (2016) with Tom Hiddleston from the 1993 novel by John le Carré, The Undoing (2020) with Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman.
